Reality of the Rashidheen

B’ism Allah… Alhamdulillah, from the teachings of Mawlana Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi (QS), the Rashidheen are the guided souls who have been inspired by Allah (AJ) to follow a Shaykh (Q), a spiritual guide, and to tread the path of guidance.

They are the servants of the guide, Abdul Rasheed, and they have been granted written authorization, known as irshad, to guide others. This authorization is akin to a license, signifying that they have been granted the permission to guide people by Allah (AJ).

The Rashidheen are characterized by their sweet and compassionate nature, both inwardly and outwardly. They do not react with anger or hostility, even when faced with insults or attacks. Their character is filled with love and they remain composed and sweet in all situations. This is a sign of their high spiritual station and their adherence to the path of guidance.

Furthermore, the Rashidheen are granted the ‘Ra’ and are considered to be Rabaniyoon, meaning they are lordly souls. They have been elevated to a lofty spiritual station and have been given the power of “kun faya kun” (be and it is) by Allah (AJ). This means that their hearts are aligned with the will of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and ultimately with the will of Allah (AJ).

In essence, the Rashidheen are those who have been tested and refined through their spiritual journey. They have been granted the permission to guide others and their character reflects the love and compassion that is inherent in the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

May Allah (AJ) grant us the understanding and ability to recognize and follow the guidance of the Rashidheen, and may He elevate us to higher spiritual stations through their guidance. Ameen.

It is important to remember that the path of guidance is a journey of loyalty and focus, and it is through this unwavering commitment that one can truly benefit from the guidance of the Rashidheen.
