B’ism Allah… Alhamdulillah, from the teachings of Mawlana Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi (QS), increasing our faith requires active participation and commitment. To strengthen our connection with Allah (AJ) and the love of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, we are advised to increase our involvement and commitment. This means actively participating in spiritual practices, such as salawats (praises upon Prophet Muhammad ﷺ) and other devotional acts. By being deeply involved and committed, we can open the reality of iman (faith) in our hearts.
Allah (AJ) grants faith into the heart of those who are deeply committed and loyal. This loyalty and commitment are exemplified by the Sahaba (Holy Companions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ), who dedicated their lives to Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ. Similarly, our commitment and loyalty to the spiritual path help to strengthen our faith and prevent us from being distracted by other influences.
Furthermore, it is essential to put our faith and trust in Allah (AJ) as our Guardian and Protector. The Qur’anic verse “HasbunAllahu wa ni’mal Wakil” (3:173) emphasizes that Allah (AJ) is the best Disposer of affairs and the best defender/protector. By placing our trust in Allah (AJ), we can attain a level of faith that provides us with safety and protection.
In these challenging times, where the anger of Allah (AJ) is manifesting on earth, it is our belief and faith that serve as our safeguard. Just as the story of Mawlana Shaykh Sharafuddin Dagestani (Q) illustrates, those who had faith were protected and guided through miraculous means.
Therefore, to increase our faith, we are encouraged to actively participate in spiritual practices, demonstrate loyalty and commitment, and place our trust in Allah (AJ) as our Guardian and Protector. May Allah (AJ) grant us the strength to increase our faith and protect us in these challenging times. Ameen.
