The Shaykh, through his connection with the chain of Naqshbandi masters, conveys support, light, and understanding to the mureeds, strengthening their bond with the Divine.
Obeying the counsel of the Shaykh, and keeping a strong relationship with him, helps to protect against confusion and misguidance, ensuring the safety and progress of the seeker on the path towards Allah ﷻ.
