B’ism Allah… Alhamdulillah, from the teachings of Mawlana Shaykh Nurjan Shaykh Nojan Mirahmadi Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi (QS), Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the mercy of Allah (AJ) in a profound and beautiful way. Allah (AJ) describes in the Quran, “And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad (pbuh)], except as a mercy to the worlds/creation.” (The Prophets, 21:107). This verse from Surat Al-Anbiya clearly indicates that the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was sent as a mercy to all of creation.
In the presence of Sayyidina Muhammad ﷺ, it far outweighs any anger that Allah (AJ) would have. The Prophet ﷺ is willing to stand with us, pray over us, and intercede for us. In that presence, there is no anger from Allah (AJ). As mentioned in the Quran, “And Allah would not punish them and (while) you (Muhammad ﷺ) are amongst them, and Allah (AJ) would not punish them (while) they seek forgiveness.” (The Spoils of War, 8:33).
Our whole life and guarantee in life is to love whom Allah (AJ) loves, and the love for Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is a means of immense blessings and mercy from Allah (AJ). The reality of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is described in the Quran as “Shahidan Mubashiran wa nadheeran” (The Combined Forces, 33:45-46), indicating that the soul of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is ever-witnessing over all souls, emanating goodness and light, and guiding us to correct our character and behavior.
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the reflection of Allah’s mercy and love for His creation. Through his teachings, actions, and intercession, he exemplifies the infinite mercy and compassion of Allah (AJ) towards all of creation.
May Allah (AJ) increase our love for Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and grant us the ability to embody his mercy and compassion in our lives. Ameen.
