Rajab, Seclusion and Saints

B’ism Allah… Alhamdulillah, from the teachings of Mawlana Shaykh Nurjan Shaykh Nojan Mirahmadi Shaykh Nurjan Mirahmadi (QS), the month of Rajab holds immense blessings and secrets. The Awliyaullah seclude themselves in the month of Rajab to immerse themselves in the divine lights and blessings that Allah (AJ) bestows during this sacred time.

Rajab is a month of light, and it is in this month that Allah (AJ) rewards His servants without any known cause and effect. The seclusion allows the Awliyaullah to focus on increasing their worship, prayers, and good deeds, seeking to catch the barakah and blessings that descend during this holy time.

Furthermore, Rajab is the month of the Miraj, the Night of Ascension, when the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was called to the Divine Presence. The Awliyaullah seclude themselves to align their hearts and souls with the spiritual journey of the Prophet ﷺ during the Miraj. By doing so, they aim to be dressed with the same divine lights and blessings that the Prophet ﷺ received during this miraculous journey.

Seclusion in Rajab is a means for the Awliyaullah to humble themselves before Allah (AJ) and seek an increase in faith, good character, and spiritual elevation. It is a time for deep reflection, repentance, and seeking closeness to the Divine Presence.

In essence, the seclusion in the month of Rajab is a way for the Awliyaullah to open their hearts to the divine gifts and to align themselves with the spiritual realities of this blessed month.
